Today is a beautiful sunny day to enjoy God's creation. At recess this morning the students enjoyed the free time with friends and the outdoor play equipment. God is good! Praise God for whom all blessings flow.

Field Day - May 18
Field Day was today! It was a wonderful sunny day where we could celebrate our althetic talents. It is always great to see a community of students, staff, parents, grandparents, friends as well as numerous volunteers enjoy this day together. Enjoy some of the snap shots taken this morning.
Smoke House Tour by Local Fire Department
On Friday, May 11 the students were privileged to visit the Smoke House. They learned many tips on Fire Safety and how to be prepared for emergencies. They were given helpful material to take home.Thank you to our volunteers for coming and teaching our students the importance of safety.

Open House - 40th Anniversary at DCS - May 3
On Thursday, May 3 we celebrated 40 years together at our OPEN HOUSE. It was a wonderful time of fellowship shared with many present and past families that evening. It was a fabulous time going down memory lane with all. God has blessed our school with many wonderful people that have made Dunnville Christian School a great place for Christ centered learning.
Grade 5/6 - Toothpick bridges
In Science class, the grade 5/6 students did a unit on bridges and structures. These are pictures of the students testing their toothpick bridges on how much weight they could hold.
DCS receives grant for new lights
Dunnville Christian School principal Joyce Koornneef
receives a $5,000 grant cheque from Ontario Association of Christian Schools
Foundation's director Larry Lutgendoff. The OACS Foundation School
Development Fund provides financial assistance to Christian schools working on
projects. This cheque covers the replacement of the energy efficient lights
that were installed in the gymnasium this past March.
